Well hi guys and girls
It’s been a rather long time since I’ve posted something, so let me apologize for that firsthand. The reason why I was so busy is mostly due to my RL stuff going crazy. Every time I returned from doing my stuff I always took a bath and then went directly to bed, without even playing a single eroge or watching a single anime episode. Luckily, I had some free time yesterday, so I decided to buy around 4 L of Pepsi and do an all nighter to catch up with my backlog. Which was a hell of a good idea, since I had the opportunity to finally play a game that’s been installed in my laptop from the day it was released; Aiyoku no Eustia.
The story was simply dazzling. The way the mood develops enveloping the characters made me drink 2 of those 4 L of Pepsi without even noticing. But this is for another post which I’m sure I’ll make, which is obviously going to be an Aiyoku no Eustia Review, although a really good one can be found at the known fansubbing group’s page; UTW.
That put aside, lets continue with this random post which is coming <<insert cheesy line here>> from the bottom of my heart.
This post is not going to be like most of my other weekly posts, that is: not serious at all, although I have a feeling I’ll joke too much.. as usual…
First of all, let me give you a slight overview of what the game is all about, since some of you might have already played it, but some of you haven’t: It’s actually a really deep and serious game, for August that is. Personally, I didn’t think that they would be able to create a good deep story. They scratched that off my mind as soon as I started the prologue.
For some of you who only have the web trial for now, an English patch has been released by a group of people (Who I consider friends, but they probably don’t even remember me) at Yandere Translations, here’s the link: Clicky
The story focuses on the life of on of our MCs’ << (kaim’s name in katakana…. roflimsodumbfornotbringingmylaptop)>>. The whole story starts to move when he finds a winged girl who glowed (Yes.. GLOWED) the same color as the one which the sky did the day of the Grand Forte, that is: The disaster that ruined his life and the ones of many other people.
When he finds her, he almost automatically decided to keep her, so he could ask her questions about how she was born and exactly why, did she glow the same color as the GF did. Probably for revenge, probably since he wants answers so he can actually find a reason for his life to be destroyed, I don’t know, I’m not that far into the game yet, I’ve just cleared Fione and Eris’ routes so far, and it was yesterday, at the same time I was packing my things for moving into this apartment today. But anyways, that has nothing to do with the post, so moving on~~
The moment she wakes up, she claims not to remember anything of the accident, and was just scared that Kaim would throw her into the streets, since she was a winged girl. The girl is actually the titular or Main Heroine; Eustia (Better known as Tia). Caim (or Kaim, idk or care about romaji) decided to go with his friend’s advice and act friendly and nice with her, so she would tell him everything that he wanted to know. Sadly, she still continued to say that she didn’t remember anything of that night, and that she didn’t even know that she “glowed”.
After they get closer and he decided to let her stay with him, not for answers but because he’s a pedo-perv but because he enjoyed being with her, he gets to meet the SUPAH POLICEMENWITHSWORDS SQUAD ehh.. how to call them… “Anti Wing Squad” sounds good, so I’ll go with it. Well, like I was saying, he gets to meet that squad’s Commander, which is the first Heroine that you’re able to catch and make yours get; Fione.
The original reason why he gets to meet them is because Caim’s ”Brother from another mother”, Sieg (Called ジーク in katakana), gave him an important job as the representative as the group he manages, which is like the mafia of the slums in the city, and work together with the AWS to catch a “Black Winged” (Literal translation FTW), That is committing serious crimes around the slums, such as killing people and winged persons, which is against the law.
I could go deep into this part, but it would be spoilish as hell, and if I didn’t make it spoilish then it would really become a serious Review, which I’m planning on doing later, so I won’t go into any type of details in this section.
Well, to end this post as a cliffhanger for you guys to wait impatiently for the review; The game is really well written. This is definitely going into one of my favorites of all time, right behind KEY’s titles.
The art is good, I’ve never been a fan of August’s art style, but well. One thing like that won’t make me blind and say the game sucks, when it’s the complete opposite of that.
The BGM’s is something worth remembering and having. When the OST comes (if it hasn’t already) I’ll be sure to buy it. They are used well in different part of the story, and they wont make you get bored. The ending theme is exceptionally good as well. I liked it like hell. I actually went back to the music menu after finishing Fione’s route just to hear it. And I ended up listening to it for like 1 hour.
Just because, I’ll post a link over here so I feel like I’m sharing the awesomeness: <—– Or that’s what I thought, but youtube doesn’t have it (WTFFFF), and I’m not in my laptop so I can’t look it up on Nico…. Bleh, I would link a download link for the entire single, but I personally believe on BUYING, so I wont… It’s really easy to find though…. lol.
I completely take it back, I love the art in this game… I don’t really know why, since I didn’t like the one in FA that much… but it just has this feeling that makes me staaaaaaaaaare…… *stares*
