Multi-Erotasking

Starting off, a little news post: My noble works review is completely stalled, by reasons you will learn about in this post. Jun’s post is in the making, since he was on a 3 day convention, and he’s making the post about it… but he needs some time to summarize all his ideas and all, He’s a Jun, so we have to understand him and give him some chance.

This one specific time I’m going to talk about the world -not so- famous Multi-Erotasking!

Little Q&A Again!

What is that…Ero-multi whatever?

Haha! good question. Multi-Erotasking is the awesome ability of playing various Eroge at the same time, without getting confused or losing the story on a single one.

That sounds good and all…. but-

There’s no buts here. It doesn’t just sound good, it IS good. You NEED it. You worship it, and at the same time you worship me.

Why would we even need it and why are we even needed to worship you…?

You need it to work on the game’s advance faster, and at the same time you don’t miss anything about the story or whatever. It’s more gaming in less time. And you need to worship me because I’m awesome. That’s it, pretty simple and cheap isn’t?

Basically… you’re going to teach us how to… Multitask?

Pretty much… Yes. But it’s not as simple as multitasking, since you’ll be using a computer, which doesn’t have infinite width or height, so you need to measure your monitor and also focus on the games you’re playing. The more the merrier, but it also gets really complicated… haha… <—- Talking from personal experience.

Which Eroges are recommended to try out first using this method?

Hmm… Whichever you want, haha. The monitor is the only thing that can stop you from playing 10 at the same time if you want to. Since there wont be enough space. But if I should recommend some… I guess it’s better to start off with easy to read ones, since you’ll be reading a lot in a small amount of time, and you can get really confused, which will screw you up.

What do we get out of this… Ero-multi whatever?

MULTI-EROTASKING GOD DAMN IT! And like I said before, you get to play more games in less time therefore making your backlog go smaller by the day, since you’ll probably finish the eroges you’re playing at the same time. Unless they’re nukiges or whatever.

Do you do it, yourself?

I do actually, although I haven’t got the time to play lately, so yeah.

Doesn’t it make the games you’re playing… less interesting?

Depends… If you actually pay attention to them, then no. But if you don’t like the games, then yes, it becomes boring as hell.

I love to be able to multi-erotask. First reason: You can have 4-5 H scenes at the same time! you can read 4-5 stories at the same time, which is great. It also makes my backlog be easy to clear, even with 10-15 games on it, which makes my life easier in more ways than one .

I believe that if you can actually do this Multi-Erotasking, then your life as an erogamer, or as a normal VN player will have some kind of really big upgrade. Of course, you don’t really need to multitask to be able to enjoy them completely. Some people even don’t like to do it, since they feel like they’re rushing it too much, and it makes the story for them too fast or something.

The Trick

The trick is actually pretty easy. All you need is to have a relatively big or normal monitor size, and enough RAM for your computer not to get stuck. after that you just need to go to your desktop and open them clock wise, starting at around 3PM?… Hell, just open them at the 4 corners of the screen. After that, you just need to put them all into auto if you want some HARDCORE experience, or click them one by one, therefore advancing in all the games.

If you’re going to play in auto mode, you need to make sure that you can actually pay attention, and you don’t get confused. since you’ll probably be listening to 4 girls at the same time (5 if you opened a new game in the center of the screen), which is really difficult. But if you recognize the girl’s voices, then you’re alright.

The whole trick is really just paying attention. If you do that you’ll advance pretty fast, without wasting any extra time. Apart from saving/loading, that is.

To make this post a bit shorter than most, let me end it with this little warning advice: Don’t try to play a lot of games at once that you’re just starting and put them on auto, since they will literally screw you your reading up.
